23 year old brides to be, Omolara Oluwagbemi Abosede, purportedly killed her life partner, Sodiq Dauda on October 18, in Ijebu-Ode town of Ogun State, only two months before their wedding, after a claimed contention.
The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who affirmed the episode to on Friday said the suspect has been captured on a murder accusation.
Mr Oyeyemi said:
"The men of Ogun State Police Command have captured one Omolara Oluwagbemi Abosede for murdering her better half, one Sodiq Dauda,"
'The occurrence happened when the couple whose wedding was slated for December this year had minor contradiction which exuded from non-rendering appropriate record of the gas business which the late spouse depended on to the wife".
Mr Oyeyemi said that the speculate asserted that her life partner, Dauda had requested that she give a full record on a Gas business bargain he had given her, yet when she render a full record of the arrangement, he plunged on her and beat her up then sent her far from their home.
Abosede apparently told the police that she called Dauda's mom who said she ought to come back to the home so she could settle the question between the couple.
As indicated by Abosede, when she returned to their home, Dauda slipped on her again and broke a container with which he undermined to wound her with.
She said took a kitchen cut in self-preservation and cut him in the rib with it.
Mr Oyeyemi said the casualty was raced to Ijebu-Ode General Hospital by the policemen at Igbeba Division where he kicked the bucket the next day while experiencing treatment".
He included that the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has requested that the suspect is exchanged to manslaughter area of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, for further cross examination and examination.
