The prohibition on Shiites is coming after a conflict amongst young people and a few individuals from the faction in Angwan Rogo, Jos North.
The young assaulted the organisation individuals while they were observing 'Ashura', a celebration that honours the passing of Prophet Muhammad's grandson. The husanniya (Worship working) of the faction was burned to the ground and wrecked by the young people.
State representative, Simon Lalong, in an announcement issued by his media right hand, Mr Rufus Bature, said that the exercises of the order in the state could never again be acknowledged, including that the boycott was important to keep up open peace.
