VP of Barcelona, Jordi Mestre, has conceded his profound respect for Arsenal right-back, Hector Bellerin.
The Catalan club, have been connected with a move for the player, who is a result of their childhood framework. Bellerin left at 16 to work with Arsene Wenger. He has now turned into the Gunners' first decision in the position and has over and again said he is content with life in London.
In any case, Mestre says Bellerin could follow in the strides of Cesc Fabregas, who left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2011.
"We've as of now considered him to be a Cule [Barcelona follower]," Mestre said in a meeting to Sport. "He's an incredible player, there's doubtlessly about that.
"Wenger persuaded him to move and guaranteed him something which we proved unable.
"We couldn't guarantee him that inside two years he would play in Dani Alves' place."
Alves marked for Juventus this late spring, with Sergi Roberto having his spot as first-choice right-back.
Mestre added that it was further bolstering their good fortune when youths leave Barcelona to grow somewhere else.
"As a rule, it's great that they leave to create as players and after that arrival [with that experience]," he included.
"Take a gander at the instances of Cesc, [Gerard] Pique, [Jordi] Alba and Denis Suarez… I trust the same thing will happen with [Sergi] Samper as well.
"It's certain that [these players] get minutes at different clubs. It is a dynamic which has dependably given great results to players that convey the Barca DNA in their blood."
Bellerin's agreement at Arsenal terminates in 2019.
