Prior to his January 2016 fight with Wizkid at Quilox night club, Dammy Krane was a moderately agreeable B-list act in the music scene.
Six months after the battle, despite the fact that it was determined, his profession appears to have slipped into insensibility while Wizkid keeps on moving higher and is nearly being Nigeria's first demonstration to get through internationally.
So what truly happened to Dammy Krane? Did the battle rub off on his vocation adversely?
At the time, nobody realised what Wizkid stole from him. At that point, WE made sense of it and it even deteriorated for him.
It peaked when both stars kept running into each other and Wizkid who hasn't let out the slightest peep to Dammy Krane on online networking supposedly crushed a container on his head.
Dammy Krane maintained wounds on his lips, sense of self and clearly vocation.
Henceforth, the move by Dammy Krane which was seen as an urgent 'reputation stunt' didn't exactly yield the fancied results.
In spite of performing at a few gigs in Kenya, Ghana and the US, Dammy Krane has not been the same fiery performer as he used to be. He doesn't have any new tune beating the graphs or even a club banger.
As he plans for his US visit in August and his arrival to Nigeria a short time later, he'll have to remember these insightful words, 'Absolutely never conflict with the lion's share when you are only a minority'.
