The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday illuminated the circumstance as to the proposal of its Technical and Development Committee that Frenchman Paul Le Guen is named the new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, saying all sub –committees in the Federation can just make suggestions to the Board.
Director of the NFF Media and Publicity Committee, Hon. Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande, released reports in the neighbourhood and global media of the Frenchman's dismissal of the position as basically ludicrous.
"The press proclamation was clear, such that all arrangements made at the Technical and Development Committee meeting were simple suggestions, which must be thought upon and consented to by the Board. No sub –committee in the NFF, with the exception of the legal bodies, takes choices. They just make proposals.
"In truth, the Technical and Development Committee scrutinised the profiles of all the mentors who submitted applications and discover Mr Paul Le Guen reasonable for the post.
