| QUR'AN COMPETITION |
The Lagos State University (LASU) has risen victor of the Qur'an Competition composed at the continuous National Higher Institutions Convention of Muslim Students (NHICOMS) LASU, Ojo.
LASU crushed top foundations like Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; The Poly Ibadan; University of Calabar, Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, and Crescent University among others.
Amid the distinctly challenged Musabaqah hung on Friday, July 29, the hopefuls were solicited to choose one from five Juzu.
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife was spoken to by Kamoru Sidiq; School of Forestry, Adedigba Sulaimon; The Poly Ibadan, AbdulKabir Ridwan; University of Calabar, Mujideen AbdulGaniy; Polytechnic Ibarapa, Bro Samsondeen; Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Jamiu Mutiu; Federal Polytechnic, Ede, AbdulAzeez Mikail; Lagos State University, AbdulGaffar Lawal; Crescent University, Bro Jamiu.
OAU had 39 marks ; Forestry 11 marks; Poly Ibadan 10 marks ; UNICAL 29 marks ; Poly Ibarapa 37 marks; Ede Poly 45 marks ; LASU 56 marks ; Crescent University 41 marks.
Thusly, LASU took the first position; Ede Poly second; Crescent third; OAU fourth; Poly Ibarapa fifth; UNICAL sixth; Forestry Oyo seventh; Poly Ibadan eighth; and Poly Ado-Ekiti ninth.
The National Higher Institutions Convention of Muslim Students (NHICOMS) is a project sorted out by MSSN B Zone. It is a yearly program which includes schools of training, polytechnics and colleges in Southern Nigeria.
The current year's holds between 28-31(Thursday – Sunday) of July(4 days) at the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Lagos State.
